Dokkum Marina
Welcome to the historic fortified city of Dokkum — a unique and welcoming destination for water sports enthusiasts! Are you visiting our city by boat? Then you are most welcome to enjoy the beautiful water, monumental city center, and lively atmosphere that make Dokkum so special.
Berths for pleasure craft
The Municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân manages the Dokkum harbour, and during the boating season (April 1 – October 31), the harbour master is present daily to welcome you, assist you, and provide practical information. The canals running through the city centre serve as a marina, allowing you to moor at many locations directly in the heart of Dokkum. Always follow the harbour master’s instructions.

Mooring fees and payment
Harbor fees are payable from 16:00 onwards. Between 09:00 and 16:00, staying without an overnight stay is free. Payment can easily be made via the i-Marina app or with the harbour master.
Water
You can fill up with water at various locations, including at the Woudpoortbrug, between the Zeldenrust and De Hoop windmills, and at the Omloop. Water is free at almost all locations; the tap point at the Westerbolwerk is provided by the local neighbourhood association. A contribution is requested here (payment by coin).
Electricity
Most transient berths have an electricity supply; electricity usage is included in the mooring fee.
Sanitary Facilities
Three buildings with toilets and showers are at your disposal (showers operate with a €1 machine).
Waste
You can present your waste to the harbour master between 08:00 and 10:00 during the morning round. You can drop off your separated waste at the company vehicle. Residual waste must be presented in a well-sealed plastic bag of no more than 10 liters. Do you not have a suitable plastic bag? Then you can pick one up at the harbour master’s company vehicle. By disposing of your waste correctly, together we keep the harbour and the city clean, safe, and pleasant for everyone. Together for a clean Dokkum!
WiFi
Free WiFi is available at various hospitality venues and at the library on the Brokmui 26 in Dokkum.
